Ever wanted to try scuba diving but were worried about taking that first step? Our instructors will give you a short lecture, and then put you into the pool with scuba gear. It's free, shallow, safe and fun for the whole family!

Beginner's Dive on the Reef at Anchorage Hotel, Castle Comfort (Minimum Age 12).

If you felt comfortable in the pool and want to try it out with the fish and on a reef do the beginners dive. Very small groups with an experienced instructor. This normally costs EC$200 so it's a great price too!

In 2009 those signing up for the Beginners dive might get to see the Mermaids swimming along the reef!

Irie Safari Kids Treasure Hunt at Champagne.

Bring the kids down to Champagne and they can snorkel in shallow water to win great prizes. Bring the whole family for a great day at Irie Safari. Dominica's divemasters will he in the water ensuing the safety of the kids.

This year be sure to get down as Irie Safari are giving away free Scuba diving certification course for the winners. Thats a EC$1000 value! Also free snorkeling prizes and other great prizes.

Irie Safari want to see a good turnout, get some kids into snorkeling and give them a chance to win a dive certification. This has led others to a career in the Dive Industry! So be there!

Sealife Camera Divemaster Photo Fish Competition Each contestant will get a Sealife camera, then be given a list of fish. They will be given one hour to dive and get photos of all the fish on the list. You will need to know your fish, or spend precious time looking them up before you get in the water. Any diver with more then one hour bottom time, or less than 500 PSI in their tank or who shows the wrong fish will have points deducted! All Divemasters/instructors will meet at AL Dive in Loubiere

A turly unique competition sponsored by Sealife Camera. The only competition in the Caribbean aimed at getting cameras into the hands of hard working local diving professionals. But they better know their fish names, critter names and coral names! How good are you? Lets find out.

6 custom built Carib canoes painted by Dive Fest sponsors and DWA members are available for all racers. Don't miss the action with all of Dominica's top businesses competing for the Kubuli Carib Canoe Race Trophy.

Who will unseat last year's champions?

Any business can put together 4 full time EMPLOYEES to make a team. 2 people race out to a platform where your other 2 teammates await, change seats (without flipping over) and row back to the beach. It's that simple!

Come down even if you don't want to row, it's the most fun sporting event of the year and all in good fun.

Great prizes from Kubuli, lots of beer to win! Also prizes from Cable and Wireless.
